Background
Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Chorten is a beautiful stupa in Punakha, Bhutan. The Queen Mother, Ashi Tshering Yangdon Wangchuck, had it built over nine years, and it was finished in 2004. The purpose of the chorten is to bring peace and harmony to the world and to honor Bhutan’s spiritual traditions.
