Talo Monastery

Background
Talo Monastery in Punakha, formally known as Talo Sangngak Choling, is located on the west side of Punakha valley, directly north of the Nalanda Buddhist Institute. Each year, the village comes alive during the Talo Tsechu festival, where locals and visitors gather for vibrant masked dances and cultural celebrations. Today, Talo Village remains a cherished cultural and agricultural center, welcoming visitors to experience its rich heritage and breathtaking scenery.
