Wolakha Nunnery

Background
The Wolakha Nunnery, also called the Wolakha Dratshang, is a significant place for Buddhist nuns in Punakha, Bhutan. The nunnery has been important for keeping Bhutanese Buddhist traditions alive, especially those of the Drukpa Kagyu lineage.
